Did you know that you can sign up to be reminded by email when there are events coming up? There are two ways to do this.
- To be reminded of a specific event, go to the event (this only works with events that are underscored) and click it. When the pop-up window opens, you’ll see an option to be emailed three days prior to the event. Just type in your email address and hit enter.
- To be reminded of every event on the calendar, or every event within a specific category (e.g. Study with the Rabbi), go to the bottom of the calendar and select “Options”. Choose “Email Settings”. You’ll see a number of choices for reminders. This is also where you’d go to cancel your existing reminders.

Rabbi Gedaliah Druin, a sofer (scribe), repaired our Torah and made it kosher. Based on the style of the writing, he believes that the Torah was originally produced in Eastern Poland about a hundred years ago. The Torah was the very generous gift of a Shir Chadash member who wishes to remain anonymous.
