Mitzvah Day 2006

Last Spring, six volunteers from Shir Chadash installed new vinyl tile floors in the home of a (non-congregant) elder who needs a walker for ambulation and whose worn rugs had presented a hazard. The effort was supported by a grant by another volunteer who, although not a member of Shir Chadash, had seen mention of the project in The Voice and had offered his generous support.
